It is now officially opened the call for applications for the “Silvio Varviso” International Opera Studio, 2022 edition for the production of La Cenerentola by Gioachino Rossini.
Roles
• Cenerentola, mezzosoprano
• Principe Ramiro, tenore
• Don Magnifico, baritono
• Alidoro, basso
• Dandini, baritono
• Clorinda, soprano
• Tisbe, mezzosoprano
Umberto Finazzi, musical direction
Daniele Piscopo, stage direction, scenes and costumes
Pre-selection
Candidates will have to send a recording (link on Youtube) with two arias, one from La Cenerentola and the other from an opera of free choice by Rossini (for the role of Tisbe: 2 arias of free choice by Rossini). Final round live in Lugano on February 25th, 2022.
